ABOUT

YOUN SUNGMIN is a photographer based in South Korea.

Working through long-term observation, his photographic practice examines time, distance, growth, memory, and the traces that accumulate within everyday spaces. Rather than focusing on singular events, he returns to familiar people and places, observing how relationships and environments gradually change over time.

Alongside his photographic practice, he works as an elementary school teacher and has led Danbit, a youth photography project, since 2014.

YOUN SUNGMIN
